East Greenwich will host the second annual East Greenwich Art Festival on September 1st and 2nd from 10am to 5pm at the new NE Tech campus located on Division Road in East Greenwich. The art festival will feature over 125 contemporary American art and crafts artists along with strolling entertainment including Rhode Island ’s Big Nazo. The festival will feature items big and small including jewelry, ceramics, paintings, sculpture, fiber and home accessories.

In addition to the juried art and crafts for sale, festival visitors will have an opportunity to join together to create a community art project, spend time with the family in the Free children’s craft center or play parachute games with Trevor the game Man. “We believe that an art festival should be a family day filled with art, music, creativity and fun!” said Jennifer Neuguth owner of Festival Fete.

East Greenwich will begin the end of summer festivities on the Friday evening of August 31st with a concert by the RI Philharmonic at Academy Field. “This is a thrilling event for East Greenwich . A little known fact about our town is that we have a rich artistic community. This festival is a wonderful opportunity to shine the spotlight on them,” said Lisa Sussman director Cultural Organization for the Arts. Visit us at festivalfete.com for more information.
